Cultural overload

This week has been all about museums. My brain has been fed with information and images of Bollywood culture, stuffed animals(mainly birds), Peruvian cloths, Chinese chyna, paintings of all kinds(a lot of serious looking people), old furniture, etc. Very interesting indeed. Oh, did I say that It snowed again...

Here's the Natural history museum:

My ol' neighbourhood

Well you know, we have to represent ;). I know that I always go on about this but I'm really missing the good old days. Walks next to Angel canal, Absolute Vintage on Thursdays, watching a film at Rio after grocery shopping, Victoria park, having lovely Turkish dishes in that restaurant at the corner, the company of my lovely flat mates, Sunday Upmarket, sweets-shopping in Sainsbury's, finding a bar in Old Street that's not over crowded, bus 149, bus 388, night bus 26 and I just keep going on and on and on...

Need to get one of these tee's.

Not to forget

Oh, I forgot to mention this fellow. Someone had tied him to the map for some reason... How sweet is he?! He sure made me smile.

Park life

The activity of today was animal sightseeing in the park. Sundays are the ultimate days for some nice walks, even though the parks are full of kids running around with long wooden sticks. These sticks are like treasures for them or something, but am I the only person worried about them sticking the eyes out of some other poor brat? Anyway, we wanted to see animals which we did. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the moose or the seals that we saw...

I did manage to take pictures of these sweethearts though:

Loafer love!

Todays theme can only be described as bargains, that is if you could see that as a theme...
Loafers: charity shop find, around £8
Trousers: good old Toppers, for the amazing amount of £4! Sale, obviously.
Top: discovered my mum wearing it to go to sleep, so I thought I'd make better use out of it...

Some days are made for walking

When you don't get to see a lot of the sun, being outdoors when the weather allows is a must. So I took a long walk but it was still freezing! I've been thinking about how this would be the perfect place for the Cullens to live...

I walked through this graveyard:

And then through this park:

All the way here:

Clothes: Old H&M fake fur.
Place: Street I should most definitely know the name of but don't...
Weather: Cold and sunny.
Activity: Shopping, not for me though!
Mood: Quite content and happy actually(despite the cold)
It looks like I'm begging for something with my hand, weird girl.

Blurry winter days

It was last week, just another grey day. I did find this awkward statue a bit charming though, never noticed it before. Kind of misplaced and lonely there by the water, next to the cycling path...

And there was dancing...

On Friday I went out dancing for the first time since I moved here(about time!)
The tunes were minimalistic techno, felt a bit like I was in Ibiza again, and the drinks were Redbull and cranberry juice, not necessarily mixed...
