Good old leopard print

My good old leopard print skirt. A few summers ago I lived Ibiza and I must say that the shops there wasn't always my cup of tea or maybe they would've if I'd been a rich bitch! I do remember one shop that I used to visit quite a bit though. Don't remember the name but it was a cute vintage shop and that's where I found this skirt. It was like 8 euro or something! Ok, my point is that I love pieces that remind me of sweet times. So leopard print skirt = pretty summer in Ibiza.

To continue on my last post... I watched an Almodóvar film this weekend and as always I was very inspired. There's something about the films, they're beautiful. And the styling, love it. Right now I want flared checked trousers!

Ever since I saw Christopher Kane's spring collection I can't stop thinking of those lovely shapes, like a dragon's back or half of a bubble. One wouldn't mind that pretty yellow skirt, or the black dress, or the shoes, those shoes! Orange gorgeousness! Let's say that one wouldn't mind owning the whole collection instead...

B-day celebrations

No, no mine. I've decided that It feels weird to celebrate the fact that I'm getting older. Very depressing indeed but I don't mind the gifts though... (wink). This is what I wore for my friends b-day party (not really a party, more like a gathering of friends). Borrowed the top of my sweet flat mate. It does look a bit casual though so I thought I'd add some red heels and orange lippy, colour clash?

Shoes

I'm a bit puzzled by theses Sergio Rossi for Puma - shoes. Do I like them or are they just hideous? I don't usually like the hybrid of trainers and heels but I was bit drawn to these I must say... Maybe I'm just pleased by the fact that the heel's black and not white (as they usually are, think DKNY)...


These lovlies on the otherhand! Love at first sight! Well, that's normally the case with Marni shoes. After some thinking I've decided that pink is nice but I think I prefer the brown ones though... Now, let 424 Euro fall from the sky!

Berlin!

I had the pleasure to spend the weekend with my friends and sister in lovely Berlin. Even though we didn't have time to see that much (Berlin is massive!) we managed to have loads of fun! Well who wouldn't? The only disapointing thing was my inability to find second-hand shops, I've heard that they're supposed to be cheap in Berlin. Oh well, next time... Happiness: friends and shopping!

Ok, claiming that shopping is happiness might sound very shallow but I'm quite convinced that most of us enjoy buying something nice for oneself. Especially when you don't get to do it very often... I mean buying a new dress or shoes sure beats buying toothpaste and chickpeas, anyone who claims the opposite must be a liar! Anyway, a weekend in the capital was exactly what I needed. The company of my lovely friends is definitely happiness and yeah it was nice to be able to buy a few things for myself as well, thanks to my darling sister!

Square?

I should be doing something quite important right now but in lack of inspiration and motivation (my 24/7 excuse...) I thought I'd do something else, like mentioning this PPQ dress. I've been wanting it for a while, even though I consider myself as a total square! But in my opinion a square might also be someone who's trying hard not to be a square, get my point? I wouldn't incourage people to be like me for their on sake and therefore I can still be a square wearing a "don't be square - dress", right? Alright I'm not sure where I'm getting with all this but let's just say it's a cute dress...

Monochrome

Boy do I love hair accessories! (enthusiastic indeed...). The only problem is that I have too little of them... Time to start getting creative and that is for real not just in my mind... I'm also craving for a petticoat, have been for a long time. But what is one to do being a poor student and all? Well, well, I'll figure something out.

Search is over...

I've been looking forever for pink tights and now I've finally found the perfect ones. I didn't want any pink tights, it had to be the exact right shade. Not too dark, not too bright, yes I'm a picky lady. Well, turns out it was impossible to find them in a shop so my sister found these on the internet for me, asos to be precise. I call it love! They make me think of something sweet like, bubblegum or...LOLLIPOPS!

So the model of this skirt is not that original but it's the fabric that makes it special to me. There's this lovely shop in Palma that sell fabrics of all sorts but the best part is that they also stock original fabrics from the 60's, love! So even though this skirt was made by me and not by some sweet tailor/designer in the 60's it's still got that nice vintage feel to it...
