Purple playtime

My purple darlings haven't really had the chance to play much but that doesn't mean the love isn't there. I partly blame the weather gods, actually they get most of the blame.

NYE getup

As usual I had nothing to wear, or nothing NEW to wear if we're gonna be completely correct. That resulted in this ensemble. The oldest piece was this earring. I think I've had it since I was 15, could almost count as vintage. Not really, I know I know. First time I used it - about time I did! Anyway nothing special, can't even make out the fabulous glitter in my hair...

Boots, jumper etc.

So I'm now trying to use these boots while I can, you never know when the evil snow will attack us! Drama queen - me? I don't know where you get that from... I've actually had these boots for 6 years and I've decided to rediscover them. Quite like them actually. Also decided to borrow my b-friend's jumper for that "oh so cozy x-mas" - feeling, well not really, I just liked it and it's warm.

Last day of summer

A few weeks ago I managed to leave the cold behind for a while but I hadn't expected it to be THAT warm! No complaining over here though. But now it's all about thick tights and the hunt for a new coat... Thumbs up for awkward hand/finger pose!

Boot - crazy

Ok, so I'm going crazy in my quest for a new pair of ankle boots. You know, the kind of boots that go with everything and that don't hurt too much? I have a picture in my head for how I want them to look but can't seem to find any. The pretty ones that I've actually found are all just available online (including these gorgeous Sonia Rykiel ones below) but I need to see how they look like on! Picky is my middle name. Don't get me started on coats, uhh...

Focus - behind

First of all, I'd like to excuse myself for the butt pictures but what I'm really focusing on are the shorts... Bought them right before summer. Saw the colours at the back of the shorts, tried them on quickly, confirmed that they made my butt look a tad bit "balloon-y", listened to my friend's opinion and bought them. Not sure if it's a good thing that most of my denim shorts have this diaper shape but can't help what I'm drawn to, ya know?

Just another bargain

Found these trousers during my purple weekend, quite like the shape. They were like 5 euro so if I'm sick of them in a week it doesn't really matter, do excuse my materialistic statement... To be honest most of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe didn't cost me more than 20 euro but sadly I wear them 'til they're just rags...

New love

I was contemplating wether to get these shoes in black, brown or flower patterned ones. As one can see I went for the flower ones. On a fun note, I asked my friend to get them for me and sent her a link asking her which colour she prefered. I'd already made up my mind before I read her reply and told her which ones I wanted. I read her reply afterwards and it said something like: " I think the brown or the black becasue the flower ones look shitty-tacky" - LOL! So is that my taste summed up in two words?

Paisley

I got this paisley shirt not so long ago and I kind of love it! My 9-year old self would have thought, nuh uh! Purple AND pink! I think not. You see, tomboys prefer colours like blue, yellow and green (still my fave colour btw, despite the lack of it in my poor wardrobe...). However my present self associates purple with all things good like, grape Fanta, the new suede shoes in the hallway and most importantly my darling Prince! Pink? Well, let's just say that I've quite recently accepted that my wardrobe consists of quite a few pink garments...

Still stuck on ice-cream shades...

It's been a while since I used to wear trainers as everyday shoes but for some time now I've been craving the classical Reebok's, most preferably a pair which include the above colours. I used to be nuts about trainers and I'd pay a lot for them too. Fila, Nike, Adidas, Puma - yeah, all of'em! I haven't even worn plimsoles for years and those used to be my standard shoes. Specifically love the above ones but I have a feeling I won't be able to find them in the local sport shops...

Finally - a bumbag

My dear mother got me this bumbag for x-mas, yay! I've been looking for one (that matches the idea in my head) for quite some time but hadn't found one. Unfortunately, I don't wear it much - yet. You know, what's the point when you have to cover it up with a long ass coat? Waiting for warmer days. Still want an Ashish one though...

Pizza and flares!

I finally got to wear these blue darlings when I visited my b-friend a couple of weeks ago. Must've bought them in November... Anyway, I took them up a bit and I also wanted to wear them without a freakin' coat, which the weather over there allowed me to do. Love them! Pizza must be a great accessory, especially when you don't want to look like a fatso... hehe.
