There's a bakery around the corner from my house where a Japanese lady makes these super cute biscuits. Just had to have some!

Just as new

When my sister and I were kids my dad sometimes used to buy us new Swatch watches. I had one that I loved, purple and yellow with an elephant on the hourplate. However, there were some that I didn't like as much and they ended up in one of my fully packed drawers... Not so long ago I rediscovered some of the watches in my old room and I was kind of drawn to this one. I think it might mainly be because of Fido Dido random face but also because of the 90's colours! I have realised that I haven't worn watches for years. I keep looking like a fool when people ask me about the time and I keep answering "I don't know" while waving my watch-adorned wrist around...

Lovely 70's

Why don't cereal come like this anymore? I'd have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner (and inbetween snack...). I keep confirming my old hag - status by referring non-stop to the old times and how much better they were. Well, don't tell me you don't love Jackson 5 messages on your cereal box?!

Birthday of a King

I know it's late but it's still the 29th here. Went to the beach briefly today, the sound of the waves are so soothing just like your voice. Happy birthday Michael. Miss you a lot.

I watched this documentry by David LaChapelle yesterday and it was amazing. The small kids are just beautiful. I always loved LaChapelle's work but didn't know that he did films too.

I saw Ang Lee's "Taking Woodstock" the other day and it was really sweet! I liked it a lot. By the way, I really want that brown hat!

Your love is magical...

A friend of mine made some beautiful artwork for an exhibition some time ago which included gorgeous screenprints of Michael. I decided to buy this one which I adore! Love the yellow light surrounding Michael's head. Anyway it's been on show for a while but I'm so happy to finally have it at home (well at one of my homes, kind of...). It's made of glass and therefore it was a bit tricky to take a picture without any reflection.

PRINCE - LOVE

Because of his genius I thought I'd at least dedicate this post to this amazing man. The music, the dance, the style (I heart!), the sexiness - pure MAGIC! We should all cherish gifts like Prince for their contributions to culture and the sharing of their amazing talents. The concept of music just isn't the same anymore, that beautiful magic that was will never come back to us... A lot of love to you Prince.

Never one to refrain from experimenting ;) Shy? Probably does not exist in his vocabulary! But seriously, still looking hot!

Oh, Happy New Year

Forgot to say Happy New Year. I have great hopes for this year but I'm trying not to wish for too much just in case... So my first post of 2010 was about YSL heels, hmm. On new years eve I was all blue with a touch of red here and there. I hope I didn't look too much like the Cookie Monster but hey, he's cute right?! I didn't take many pictures at all since the battery in my camera died, well well.

Anyway I hope this year will bring the joy that I'm wishing for and I hope that there'll be a lot of love for everyone. Ok that should be enough...

Little Ashes

I watched this beautiful but oh so sad film yesterday and as a result I had a visit from sadness and frustration. Today when reflecting over it relief was keeping me company, relief over living in this time and these societies (I have many homes...). Yet some individuals do still today believe they have the right to judge and dictate the feeelings of others. Can we control our feelings? I'd say no more than we can control the colour of our skin. And all hateful individuals, that call themselves "good citizens"should stop blaming God. Am I a Christian? I do not need a label. One thing is rather clear though, which any person would know if using common sense and that is that life is better with more love (any kind) and less hate. Would you not agree?

Enough preaching. Back to film thoughts, the clothes! The boys are so finely dressed and simply beautiful.
