Hopefully I'm getting a new camera today, nothing fancy though since I'm poor... But you know, having a half decent one is better than not having one at all. Wow, I'm actually being more positive these day, must be the weather.

Martin Parr
I haven't posted anything in quite a while and it could partly be because I'm still mourning MJ but the main reason is definitely the death of my digital camera... Pictures make things more interesting and fun, well at least I believe so. No idea trying to fix the little bugger so I'll just have to invest in a new one. Anyway, went to Martin Parr's exhibition in Palma last week. Below are some of my favourite pictures included in the exhibition:

Mourning the greatest of them all...
I'm aware of the fact that this must have been written and talked about endlessly already but I too need to express my feelings of utter sadness after hearing about Michael Jackson's death. My childhood heroe. The first CD I ever owned was "Dangerous". I think my parents bought it for me when I turned 6. How I loved it, as did my sister. We had a massive (very old-school) CD-player in the kitchen and that's where we would be listening to him. When I got older (like 12) my friends and I used to have MJ-sessions, just listening to his songs for hours. And YES, I'm the type of fan that always loved him not caring much about what was written about him. How I wish that I could of just seen him perform once, it would've been amazing.
How I love this song!
And this (the fan in this video is so funny)
And this
Well, needless to say I love ALL his songs!
RIP

Saturday stroll
On Saturday I had a stroll around the alleways, nicer than walking around on the crowded streets. One might also discover more interesting thing like this "personalised" terracotta coloured wall. Ok, might not be art but it adds a bit of character don't ya think?
I was wearing an old dress from my boyfriend's parent's shop, old sandals from a Spanish shop which I don't remember the name of... Oh, yeah and my favourite sunnies which I found lying around on dad's desk, also old... I keep repeating the word old quite a bit, it might be time for someone to invest in some new clothes...

Which one?
I thought I'd try and choose a dress to wear for work and these two were probably most suited for me. I tried them on at home and I'm not sure which one I like better or if I even like them at all (on me that is)...
1st one:
Ok, this one is very girlie, not sure if I like that even though I fancy the fringy bit on the hemline. It's also a bit too long for my taste... By the way, not sure what's up with the greyish tone of these pictures...
2nd one:
I prefer the length of this one but I think it's a top because from the back I'm exposing my behind... That can be taken care of with a pair of shorts though. Also I had to put some kind of belt on since the combination of drop-waist and width made me look like Barney in Flintstones, not good. Yes, I'm jumping on the last pictures don't ask me why. An attempt to be imaginative maybe? The jumping explains the "I can't control my cheeks" - facial expression. Anyway, I'll have a think I might just go for something else...

Good old leopard print
My good old leopard print skirt. A few summers ago I lived Ibiza and I must say that the shops there wasn't always my cup of tea or maybe they would've if I'd been a rich bitch! I do remember one shop that I used to visit quite a bit though. Don't remember the name but it was a cute vintage shop and that's where I found this skirt. It was like 8 euro or something! Ok, my point is that I love pieces that remind me of sweet times. So leopard print skirt = pretty summer in Ibiza.

Dragon shape
Ever since I saw Christopher Kane's spring collection I can't stop thinking of those lovely shapes, like a dragon's back or half of a bubble. One wouldn't mind that pretty yellow skirt, or the black dress, or the shoes, those shoes! Orange gorgeousness! Let's say that one wouldn't mind owning the whole collection instead...
