Summer pink

I've kind of been living in these pink shorts all summer, again "the ice cream colour" - attraction. When I bought them they were a bit longer but I had to cut them off in order to not look like a middle aged golf playing man, well you get my point. Note how I'm enjoying my last days of REAL summer sun in the first picture, *sigh*.

New shoes, kind of...

It's bloody September! Ain't that depressing? I guess spending September here would be perfectly fine but no, I have to go back to that dark and cold place... Ok, note to myself: more positive energy and start seeing beauty in the most simple things.

Speaking about simple happiness, I ordered these shoes a while ago but started using them last week. Quite like them actually. I was also very happy that they fit! My feet are "in-betweeners", not always a 4 but neither always a 5, so that's all good. (Do ignore multi-coloured feet).

Birthday of a King

I know it's late but it's still the 29th here. Went to the beach briefly today, the sound of the waves are so soothing just like your voice. Happy birthday Michael. Miss you a lot.

Another day in Stockholm

Boots were another thing I hadn't worn for months. Quite depressing actually. I do love wearing long sleeves and I adore tights in all colours but I'm not sure if I love summer more... I've realized that my most precious memories are of sunny spring and summer days.

Weekend in Stockholm

My best friend got married during the weekend so I went to Stockholm for a few days. The wedding was loads of fun and my friend looked stunning! Unfortunately my dear b-friend accidentally erased all the pictures on my camera half-way through celebrations... I tried taking more pictures but don't really have any good ones. Will have to hunt down photos from my friends instead.

While the wedding was lovely the weather was less enjoyable. It's supposed to be warm in August even if you're in Sweden! My first time wearing tights in months. So now I've got a lovely cold... Well, I probably shouldn't complain since I did have a great weekend.

Yellow shell

Found this romper in a vintage shop in May and although I really like it I've only used it once. So the other day I set myself on yellow romper mood and used my b-friend's bike as an accessory. As long as I'm not on the bike it's all good. I tried getting on it the other day but since I can't even reach the peddles I thought: " No, I do not want to end up looking like a Big Bird-mess lying flat-faced on the curb...". And even though everyone's emphasising the arrival of autumn I just don't feel like walking around in a jacket and boots when it's 30 degrees (celsius) outside. No summer, I'm not done with you yet.

Night gown?

I really like my new mint green (yes, again) top but have realised it looks a bit like a night gown... Well, I don't mind really because some night gowns are so pretty you wonder who'd ever want to sleep in them? This one might not be one of those super pretty ones but I sure wouldn't want to sleep in it either. I'll just continue wearing it and perhaps look like I just got out of bed and forgot to get changed...

I know that this collection isn't "new" but gosh do I want all of it! The fanny packs, or bum bags as I prefer to call them for obvious reasons *giggles*, are just what I've been looking for since last year. I want me a bum bag!

Red heart, mint green

Yup, this weekend I wore my diaper denim shorts again. It's so nice to wear shorts that aren't that tight and won't make your legs look like roastbeef (wrapped in string) once you sit down... Borrowed J's tee because as I've mentioned before I'm liking candy colours right now although I don't wear it as often as I'd like. The red heart-brooch is a x-mas gift that my niece made me. Love hand-made gifts!

I watched this documentry by David LaChapelle yesterday and it was amazing. The small kids are just beautiful. I always loved LaChapelle's work but didn't know that he did films too.
