Polka-dots

I'm loving my new polkadot shorts! Shorts/skirt, two-in-one is very practical. Legs look a bit funny though... I'm also loving the man on the poster, well I've been loving him for 8 years so that's not really something new...

A signature

http://mjjmahal.wordpress.com/

For anyone who comes across my page I would just love it if you could go to the website above and add your signature. It would mean the world to me. All the disgusting and heartbreaking things this beautiful man had to go through just makes my heart ache and bleed. This is the least we can do! Michael, you were so pure, loving, unique, magical... I do not believe it was your time to go, not yet. Love you for all eternity.

London - weekend

I spent my past weekend in lovely London with some of my lovliest friends. A great part of the time rain was pouring down but that didn't stop me from missing my old home ever so much... Well, as the Swedes say: a little (a few days that is) is better than nothing. Actually visited Blackheath and Greenwhich for the first time, beautiful indeed. And though the rain can be a pain it kind of did create a pretty "light" in some of the photos.

My darling - Dani, ever so stylish!

Military pose in bright, bright light...

Eh, two of them were already missing when we bought them...

Mini!

Don't we all just love the mini? Well, I know I do and definitely not because I've got great legs, on the contrary. In some cases shorter make better... Obviously I'm not refering to the skanky, stripper way of wearing the mini but to the pretty way it's worn as showcased above.

Bow for B-day

I wore this to my luvvie's birthday dinner a while ago, some new pieces and some super old ones. We had sushi - again! Well what can I say ma boy loves it and for his birthday he should get whatever he wants (shouldn't everyone..?). Not that I mind though. Want more ribbons for bows, velvet maybe? By the way my camera insisted on making it look like I've got a glass-eye which is not the case. Though I do like the pirate looks sometimes.

I'm liking the long bits (back and front) of this shirt, hides wobbly bits well... Oh yeah, new tights too!

Little Ashes

I watched this beautiful but oh so sad film yesterday and as a result I had a visit from sadness and frustration. Today when reflecting over it relief was keeping me company, relief over living in this time and these societies (I have many homes...). Yet some individuals do still today believe they have the right to judge and dictate the feeelings of others. Can we control our feelings? I'd say no more than we can control the colour of our skin. And all hateful individuals, that call themselves "good citizens"should stop blaming God. Am I a Christian? I do not need a label. One thing is rather clear though, which any person would know if using common sense and that is that life is better with more love (any kind) and less hate. Would you not agree?
Enough preaching. Back to film thoughts, the clothes! The boys are so finely dressed and simply beautiful.

English it is

They just all look so hot, love it! I randomly watched the film on TV the other night and yeah it's great but I couldn't help the fact that I was mainly thinking about what they were wearing... Call me shallow but in my defense I'll just say that I've watched it before (I'd think I was more focused on the plot then...).

By the way I'm hoping to become a proud owner of these babies very soon...

Happy clouds come back...

This is how it looked like outside my window a few weeks ago, well it still pretty much looks the same now but the difference is the clouds. These clouds are happy, nice clouds that wants to give you some shade in the heat. The ones I have outside my window now are angry, sad clouds just waiting for a chance to drench you in their tears and to prevent the sunlight to reach us even just for a minute. Am I just getting a tiny bit bitter and depressed about winter...?

Bargain boots!

Took my new H&M boots for a stroll this weekend and I must say I quite like them! A plus for not causing any blisters... The heel is just right not too high for everyday use and I'm glad they're not too high at the ankle. Most ankle boots are and that just makes my legs look very manly and chunky, not very pretty. They're quite roomy so they'll be great for winter too! Ok, I'll stop talking about my boots now before this turns into an essay...

Sun still going strong

Ok, so one of my legs look bigger than the other one in this photo (hopefully not in real life...) but what I wanted to mention is the fact that the weather still allows me to go dressed like this. Not that I don't love my collection of tights, as a matter of fact I just bought some new lovlies and will most definitely be buying more, but what I'm saying is that you can never have too much sun! Actually left Madrid to spend my weekend on one of the islands but can't really complain about lack of sunshine here either.

To be completely fair I did feel the need of a jacket in the evenings but we were up in the mountains, sort of...

Cravings...

My mind is hardly ever set on bags but from time to time I do discover some beauties that I wouldn't mind investing in. A good friend and I were chatting about Mulberry and we've both fallen in love with this piece of loveliness, the "Alexa" bag. Obviously named after Alexa Chung. I seriously need a new bag! I've only got two at the moment (moving around like a nomad means always leaving things behind, such as bags...) and one is falling apart while the other one is just plain ugly. What a poor girl to do?

Sweet lyrics

I know a girl, loose on apple cider.
On a hot summer's day, I know where to find her.
Sitting in the shade with that cool apple cider, Oh you got it made with that cool apple cider.

Look at her face, the glow of apple cider.
And I know a place, I can get some cider.
Sitting in the shade with that cool apple cider, Oh you got it made with that cool apple cider.
Got to give me some.
Give me some.
Give me some.
Give me some apple cider.

Hello there!

Hello there new white shoes! So how was the first stroll around Madrid like? Yeah, I know the streets are new to me too but it'll be alright, we'll get to know them better together. Well, it must at least have been nice to leave the stockroom of that random shoe shop? At first I wasn't sure if you should come home with me I quite liked the black version of you too... But in the end I decided that you were more special and ma boy agreed, end of story.

Madrid Madrid

Ok, so I've moved to Madrid and I must say that my first week here has been lovely. Been strolling around and trying to remember everything I need to know. Just wish that my sweets could stay here with me and not go back...

The weather finally gave me the chance to use my dress I bought in May. I like!

I also heart Madrid...

Ethnical 80's?

On Saturday there was a flea market in front of the cathederal, nice surprise! I love walking around inspecting all the junk. One can find anything including a gold puffin brooch or why not vintage porn?! All for a bargain price of course. Well, we settled with a few other things instead. My b-friend bought me this jumpsuit for example and I found this navy belt. Judging by this picture people might think I got dressed in the dark... But I like the feel of this all-in-one piece (even though it makes me look a bit frumpy), it's like the 80's meets rural East-Asian "dresscode". On top of that a friend found my sock-shoe combination very psychadelic...
I'm moving to Madrid tomorrow and I'm so freakin' nervous! Starting over on my own once again. Exciting indeed but also scary... Telling myself it'll be fine...
